At Project Munting Hiling, we believe that caring for the environment goes hand in hand with supporting our communities. As part of our sustainability efforts, we launched FREE UKAY FOR ALL—a project that collects pre-loved clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories and redistributes them to families who cannot afford to buy new ones.
This initiative not only provides much-needed clothing to those in need but also reduces textile waste, promoting a culture of reuse and sustainable fashion.
How Free Ukay for All Works
♻️ Clothing Donation Drive – We gather used clothes, shoes, bags, and other items from generous donors who want to give their pre-loved items a second life.
👕 Hand-Me-Downs for the Community – Instead of letting these items go to waste, we give them to families who truly need them, helping them save money while reducing textile consumption.
🧵 Upcycling Unusable Clothes – Not all donated items are in perfect condition, but nothing goes to waste! Damaged or unwearable clothing is repurposed into rags or stuffing materials, ensuring that we minimize environmental impact.
